![]() Kenneth Macintosh MSP As well as serving on the Parliament's Education Committee, Mr Macintosh co-chairs the Parliament's Cross Party Group on Cancer and is a member of several other Parliamentary Groups. Though never having gained a ministerial position, Mr. Macintosh was Cathy Jamieson's aide in 2002- a position he later resigned from after constituency pressure required him to vote against the Executive regarding Glasgow hospital reorganisation. Prior to entering the Scottish Parliament, Mr. Macintosh was a television producer for the BBC, where he was the producer responsible for the Scottish input into UK network news. | |
![]() Jackson Carlaw Jackson is a long serving Tory activist in the West of Scotland and has previously been Vice-Chair of the Party in Scotland. He currently sits on the party's ruling Executive Committee. He fought the Pollock by-election in 1982 and again in 1983. More recently he stood in Eastwood in 2003. | |
![]() Stewart Maxwell Stewart joined the SNP in 1992 and was elected for the West of Scotland in 2003, he is a member of the Justice 2 Committee and the Subordinate Legislation Committee. Within the Scottish Parliamentary group Stewart is the Group Secretary. Stewart is a member of three Parliamentary cross party groups. They are; Tobacco Control, Cancer and Food. He is the Shadow Deputy Minister for Health and the SNP Deputy Health Spokeperson, with particular responsibility for Public Health. | |
